Q1 goes into 1 post, not 2, though you can split the question up. Good idea to apply theory - but do so more precisely: quote directly from the theorist and therefore be more specific on what they argue. Goodwin for example sets out a very specific set of basic conventions. The other main approach to this should really be, as I set out in my guide post!!!!, 'from my research into general music video examples I found... [list conventions]' - as you list each convention, make any points about more specific/different genre conventions then compare with what you did. That should lead to a detailed response.
